iorad provides a simple solution for creating guided step-by-step tutorials, instructions and knowledge base articles for any desktop or web application. Users can train employees on how to use the apps that power their organization or provide customers with guided tutorials on using a product, without ever having to manually take a screenshot.
iorad captures everything the user does inside the capture frame and automatically breaks it down into step-by-step instructions. It knows where the actions took place, highlights them, and creates editable text instructions based on what the user clicked on. All text can be translated instantly with Google Translate by selecting a language from the list within the platform.
The live preview mode shows creators exactly what users will see and experience during the tutorial. iorad accommodates different learning styles by including methods such as simple to follow outlined steps, a hard copy printout, and the interactive ‘try steps’ mode which allows users to click-along and practice while following the directions. There is also a mobile version for users who are on-the-go and tutorial creators can preview how they will appear on a mobile screen.
Tutorials can be converted into a .pdf file for those who want to have the instructions printed on paper. All tutorials are automatically stored onto the iorad cloud, so users can copy and share the link or embed it on a website directly, with no uploading involved. Make a youtube video or link the tutorial to an integrated customer support platform such as Zendesk, Freshdesk, or Atlassian.

Pros
Our software platform can be intimidating to use at first. Building these tutorials for customers has been very easy and quick to do. We have had numerous compliments from several customers within the first few weeks of using it and making it available.
Cons
It would be great if in the future users could have an IORAD app that would work the same way the web-capture works. We have to show customers not only how to use our web-based portal, but also our app. So it would be amazing to be able to build step by step tutorials right on your smart device.

It is user friendly.
It brings a real value added in the step by step exercise. It is time saving, resources saving, and it restrains the error percent.
Cons
It can improve in terms of features.
it is not stable (I guess it is for a moment : still improving). But be more careful and inform users in advance, so they can save work.

This product is cut down the time it takes me to create ‘how to’ videos for new employees by almost half. It also helped me produce both video and printed job age at the same time. So I can address the visual learner the auditory learner and the tactile learner all the same time.
Pros
Great for instructional videos. I like how easy it is to use and how intuitive the navigation can be.
Cons
In some areas like the editing section the fonts they use for links are incredibly small. They were in a lot of design work that went into it. It’s aesthetically neutral But functionally excellent.

Pros
I was sitting at a presentation at an educational technology conference when the presenter casually mentioned ioRad. I immediately went on the site. Truth be told, I did not hear a single word she sais from that point on. I was AMAZED and began creating my first capture right there. It was that easy. When I clicked finish and saw how ioRad captured every step, every click, and labeled the screen shot, as well as producing the step-by-step instructions, I was sold! This software is BRILLIANT! It has saved me countless hours of capturing screenshots and manually adding the instructions. Better yet, is the LIVE function, where a user can see prompts to guide them click by click through a process in real time on the site.
Cons
The product development is very responsive to client feedback. The software just keeps getting better and better.
