DynamxMFG is an excellent choice for manufacturers looking to digitise operations without being overwhelmed by complexity. It bridges the gap between high-end MES systems and the practical needs of growing manufacturers.
Pros
One of the biggest benefits is the live view of production. Having immediate insight into work orders, progress, bottlenecks, and downtime allows issues to be identified and resolved before they escalate.
Cons
While core functionality is intuitive, some of the deeper reporting and analytics features take time to fully explore and utilise — though the payoff is worth it.

Pros
It was a quick start up process, the interaction with technical people was daily where needed. Compared to other solutions the value for money and ease of use is very good.
Cons
Out the box reports need some work for them to be relevant for us. A few user interface issues that make things long winded that need addressing.

Unintuitive and Complicated to use.

I find this system not intuitive and awkward to use. I often spend more time trying to get a job...
I find this system not intuitive and awkward to use. I often spend more time trying to get a job done through the system than it actually takes me to pick the parts and complete a job. I find the Tracking system for each task too over-the-top for what we do.
Pros
The mobile picking screen is useful, but not reliable. There is usually a quick response from the support email. I can see and understand how the system is supposed to help, but it isn't there yet.
Cons
The inventory site is not intuitive and there are complicated work arounds for issues, e.g. stock is adjusted through the Locations tab, not the Stock tab. Because it is overly complicated, the system is bypassed frequently to get work done. The Location screen doesn't show serial numbers, and each item is on a separate line meaning you have to count them on the screen or click on the Serial Number button to find an the specific part you are looking for.

Overall it has been helpful in some ways, but I still think it has a long way to go to become software I would describe as an enjoyable user experience. When we have issues we do always get an initial response straight away that the problem is being worked on/ investigated, but it can takes months to get a resolution and we still have many outstanding issues.
Pros
It shows stock levels without having to go downstairs and check. I can see when we have parts on order.
Cons
Its not intuitive at all to use, for example to manually adjust stock levels you need to go to 'locations' not 'stock'. Often it takes longer to figure out how to complete the task in TCPro, than the actual task takes to perform. It has also 'crashed' many times while we have been using it, and we have been unable to do any work using it until its back up and running.

Overall its been very positive with helpfull and knowledgable staff. We have regular meetings to discuss any changes needed to customise the software.
Pros
We like the fact that we were going to be able to control our inventry better and allow full tracebility through out the whole build process.
Cons
Seams a bit clucky and some of the search facilities could be better for finding stock, but these are being written into the software to suit our business.
