Every new account starts with $25 of signup credit (about 100 conversations), applied automatically at your first store. No credit card is required to sign up, and the credit does not expire while your store is active. A card is requested only once the signup credit runs out.

A default monthly cap of $59 keeps costs predictable. You can raise or lower this cap anytime from your billing dashboard, or enable pause-on-cap so the assistant stops once the cap is reached.
