> We created a browsable song database at TheSound.com and needed to use a directory plugin that allowed us to apply multiple category/tag/genre definitions to each listing, while still being able to organize individual tracks by album. It wasn't easy to find a solution that allowed for all of this, but Directorist was perfectly suited for this configuration right out of the box.
The developer helped us sort out customizations to allow only registered users to download the tracks... I mean, they helped us create a highly customized solution based on our needs.

A few minor bugs appeared but the customer support is great, detailed and dependable. Works well as a stand alone product and has many integration options or plugins.

> **Cons**: Some aspects of the admin management are slow and clunky and I am looking forward to ongoing refinements and improvements in future updates.
