> **Pros**: ART software removes the need for Excel, PDF, box.com or other resources used to track and complete your monthly Account Reconciliations.  Our auditors are remote so ART gives the auditors access to log in and see where our GL data stands throughout the year.

> **Cons**: The GL data upload is very simple and easy, my only request would be to link the data to our ERP system to update automatically.
> 
> ART allows me to log in and see where all of our GL balances/ reconciliations stand with one click.  The dashboard tells me what has been done and by who, and what needs some review.  For a busy accounting department ART is a huge time saver for Month end/Year end processes.

> **Cons**: Lack of Automation, still using spreadsheets for most balance sheet reconciliations. In order to do the type of reconciliations that we are doing we would need a detailed feed into ART. It is possible we aren't using the subledger functionality but I'm skeptical that it would give us the detailed information on variances that we need.

> **Pros**: Have not had a feature that stood out as something that is likeable other than it is a tool that appears to work.
> 
> **Cons**: 1) It can't or doesn't remember your log-in ID so you have to type it in each time.  Other programs will at least remember it and only the password is needs to be entered.
2) User's can load another month's recon until the prior month is reviewed/approved.  Becomes a roadblock to processing and workflow as recon may be okay but reviewer just has not gotten to it.
3) Multiple step process to save and then submit a recon.  If not aware of proper steps, then recon is identified as not being done when it is.  If "submit" is clicked it should be the 1 and only step.
4) Should be able to see past comments without having to go to the particular month for the reviewer to see history of review notes on particular account
5) Not intuitive on the some of the functionality to get reports out
6) Going back to undo a step, e.g. take back an approval, sends it back to preparer rather than putting it in the "to be reviewed' stage.  It was approved once and maybe it is just the reviewer that wants to make a change to the review note but it goes back to preparer it seemed from the occasional times this was done.

> **Pros**: Its a simple, effective reconciliations platform. My favorite module is the tasks module though. We use it to ensure all month-end items are complete as well as house the support for a number of our SOX controls. We grant both internal and external auditors access and it has significantly cut down on requests that we have to manually pull.

> **Cons**: The reconciliations screen could be a little more user-friendly. There's just a lot going on that I'm sure some companies utilize that we don't (e.g. multiple currencies).
> 
> We could not be happier. Support is extremely responsive and SkyStem is always open to ideas on improvements.
