Overall, I am pleased with Carepatron. While it is not perfect, there are consistent updates which have improved the platform and I am happy with my choice after reviewing options.
Pros
The pros for me were the affordable price and the amount of storage. As a new provider I like the availability to start using all the features of Carepatron in addition to the documentation section.
Cons
The cons about Carepatron are that it can be difficult to upload existing templates to the system. I would also like to be able to group the clients into different folders if possible in the future.

I never got the hang of it, it isn't very intuitive. I would have preferred to try another software...
I never got the hang of it, it isn't very intuitive. I would have preferred to try another software at the job I used it at, but I think maybe they used it due to price.
Pros
I really didn't like it all that much. I like that it connected to my Google calendar.
Cons
It was nearly impossible to use on a phone, many of the features were unavailable. Having to sign into a computer to check my schedule was not very useful.

Calendar interface on phone blocks out areas. Would like fill in treatment plans with ideas for what to do for different disorders

How everything is integrated, easy, templates
Cons
I would like a place to onboard employees - not to process payroll, but to have the same option of sending a folder with all required documents to sign, and a place to store them all similar to client records - just for staff, and Therapy practice specific templates for adding therapist's as employees, business associate, or partner etc. Also, I would like to be a be able to manage "groups" or types of clients for different services through Tags, so I can bunch/group onboarding documents related to the service, even is clients might be accessing different services like Psychotherapy, and Neurofeedback. One qualifies for superbill, the other is private pay only. Questionaires and assessments may be different, but want to be able to store and organize it in templates to send, and in client records.

I wish support had responded and the product was more customized to therapists and how they have to manage notes, treatment plans etc. The system is too complicated to make that process doable.
Pros
I very much liked the ease of use. The UI is intuitive, appealing and the performance appears to be very good. I immediately felt I knew how to use the product.
Cons
As an LMFT, there are no pre-set progress note templates. Even though once can create those, the elements available did not meet my needs and were complicated. I reached out to support and never got a response.
