> **Pros**: First and foremost, ease of use and affordability are two major factors in my rating.  The customer support ranks high because of availability and knowledge of the staff.  I like the ability to track CIP projects separately, which my old software didn't offer.  The import of data from old to new was a painless process.

> **Cons**: So far, I haven't encountered any dislikes with the software.  This is my first year using Fixed Asset Pro and I haven't found any lack of reporting issues or support.

> The entire process from demos to implementation was easier than I anticipated.
Customer support provided excellent support and recommendations when I reached out.  Live chats, phone calls, or emails are available when help is needed.  There are comprehensive training modules to walk you through setup to implementation which are easy to follow.

We needed something for all our users, at a non-profit friendly pricing point, and with ease of implementation, data transfer, and use. Fixed Asset Pro hit the mark for all our needs and our support was always a few moments away when we had questions.

> **Cons**: Fixed Asset Pro meets or exceeds all of our needs. It even comes with a photo repository built-in. The only thing that would be nice to have in it would be a separate equipment inventory tracker, but you could also denote these in the comments.

Random assets get depreciated more than cost
excel format columns don't always line up

> It's done a reasonably good job allowing us to categorize and keep track of assets in large volumes at a very reasonable price.  Tech support always makes me feel stupid.  The errors in calculating depreciation mean we always have to manipulate the depreciation reports for tax reporting.

Ability to create view screens with the info I want to see at any time.
Searching for specific assets

> **Cons**: I do not like the external reporting feature.  There are some standard reports but to build a report with info I want is not easy and I have not mastered that yet.  Data can be exported to work with, but would prefer a standard report be set up with the information I want to see regularly. Depreciation expense on the view screen is hard to understand as it does not show current year to date montly, only last year and remaining total.

> I switched to Fixed Asset Pro about two years ago and it was very easy to import the data.  Asset tracking by location (I have 10 locations) was very easy to accomplish.  Creating view screens to see exactly what I want to know is good. I would recommend using FAP to track assets.
