Trimble Maps
About Trimble Maps
Trimble Maps is a cloud-based vehicle routing and scheduling software designed for businesses in logistics, postal, utilities, construction, food service, and oil & gas sectors. It helps organizations manage the entire transportation workflow, from route planning to delivery.
The application enables supervisors to create route schedules with suitable delivery time windows, analyze existing freight networks, and identify optimal journeys using what-if scenarios. Businesses can use Trimble Maps to calculate the required number of drivers and vehicles for a fleet and conduct shared fleet analysis to identify cost savings opportunities. It also allows administrators to handle daily orders, manage placements of new stops, and make real-time capacity changes for orders placed at a short notice.
Using Trimble Maps’ two-way mobile connectivity, supervisors can send dispatch routes and the latest updates to drivers and collect delivery confirmation through signature or image capturing capabilities. Managers can track vehicle locations, monitor trip progress, check live weather or traffic conditions, and provide shipment updates to customers. The software also helps stakeholders analyze the utilization of resources, compare the performance of planned with actual delivery and measure route profitability through KPIs.

the program has been very helpful and highlighting where our delivery inefficiencies are and providing us the tools to mitigate them. Provides a great visual representation of customer layout across the map which also highlights potential areas to focus sales on.
Pros
That they were able to adapt it to you business model. what we do is not your traditional delivery cycle and they were able to adapt the program to make it work for us. it has been very helpful since. for the most part it is easy to use.
Cons
there are little features i would like to see added to the software which would make it faster and easier and i have been told it is being worked on so this is good. i look forward to getting them installed.

The interface can be customized to best fit your configuration. Drivers love the DR Track website.

There are some aspects that feel a little bit clunky and requires too many key strokes, but the product as a whole seems to have very little issues so far.
