FortiClient

About FortiClient
FortiClient is an endpoint protection software that helps small to midsize businesses identify and remediate malicious attacks across multiple vectors, including web, USB, and email. The software inventory management module allows managers to monitor all software installed on an endpoint and remove outdated and unwanted applications.
FortiClient enables supervisors to conduct on-demand, real-time, or scheduled scans to detect and quarantine malware and compromised endpoints. Administrators can extract user data from Active Directory and configure access rights, restricting specific users from adding or deleting critical information. The vulnerability management functionality enables users to detect threats and attacks across operating systems and third-party applications. It also uses SSL-based encryption and two-factor authentication to provide a secure user experience.
FortiClient comes with an API, which allows businesses to integrate the system with third-party applications. The activity dashboard provides endpoint alerts and summary reports, ensuring continuous monitoring across the organization.

Forticlient used to be our primary firewall and security protection for all our networks that, allowed our customers controlled access to configuration and deep analytics,
Pros
Forticlient enables cloud-based security policy management granting the consumers restricted admission to configuration and analytics. The tool and interface is user-friendly, and I like the graphs, the dynamics and the coverage functionality it presents.
Cons
Forticlient can be buggy at times. Recently a threat was discovered where an invader could remotely carry out arbitrary code with root privileges. Even though Forticlient team has patched this bug, this susceptibility took away the trust factor.
