This really revolutionised the way our staff pick products, eliminating the need for paper, pen and clipboard faff. The great order management allows us to seamlessly process our orders across various platforms such as our website, eBay and Amazon, ensuring there are no stock clashes. The automation around purchasing and stock transfers saves real admin time, and sales order processing for our trade accounts is far cleaner than what we had before. However, he worked for Pivotal, an external company involved in the implementation, rather than Stok.ly itself. Beyond that, it is difficult for me to identify a meaningful positive from our experience with the product. The concept of bringing inventory, warehouse and Shopify operations into one central system was exactly what we wanted, which is why we invested in Stok.ly in the first place. Unfortunately, the implementation did not deliver those benefits for our business. > > **Cons**: Unfortunately, almost every area that mattered to our business became a source of frustration. We paid approximately £400 per month plus £1,500 for onboarding, yet encountered problems, limitations or missing functionality involving Shopify cost-price synchronisation, SKU creation, product/listing behaviour, B2B/pricing, Android warehouse workflows, bin-guided picking, stock processes, labels/customs information and Royal Mail Click \& Drop. The experience became considerably worse when we eventually concluded Stok.ly was unsuitable for our business and attempted to leave. Stok.ly relied on its contractual notice provisions and refused to release us. The subsequent senior-management communications were, in my opinion, confrontational and dismissive. The dispute ultimately escalated to the point where we were told the outstanding amount would be pursued through the Small Claims Court. We have retained the correspondence relating to this. After spending thousands of pounds and months trying to make the implementation work, facing the prospect of court proceedings over further payment when we attempted to leave was an extremely disappointing conclusion. For us, Stok.ly represented very poor value for money. Instead of making our operation more efficient, it consumed months of time, created additional work and ultimately failed to deliver the operational improvements for which we purchased it. Had we known before signing what we knew by the end, we would not have proceeded. > > Our overall experience with Stok.ly was extremely disappointing and ultimately resulted in us removing the system from our Shopify stores. Instead of simplifying our operation, it added complexity, consumed substantial management and staff time and cost us thousands of pounds without delivering the operational improvements we required. Had we known before signing what we knew by the end, we would never have proceeded. Based entirely on our own documented experience, I could not recommend Stok.ly to another retailer. With computer based system there always glitches but these are fixed quickly. > > We have been with Stok.ly over 18 months and cant imagine our business without it. We moved to Stok.ly from the dreaded Cloud Commerce Pro, after several periods of downtime we made the decision to move and it was the best move we could have made. It has improved most aspects of the business on the IT, including adding additional sales channels, automated shipping and price alterations. We have had very few issues with the system and any problems have been resolved very quickly. When looking for a new system we looked at several different systems and it came down to Orderwise and Stok.ly. Stok.ly offered the best overall package for the best value for money. The stock app has made our picking and packing team a lot more efficient and we now have very few stock discrepancies. We are now processing sales orders faster than ever and the system allowed us to send more parcels than ever in 2025.
