IF one was careful to parse the data it provided, it could help with advising students about major choices that were more or less good for them. > > **Cons**: The Major Matcher as I experienced it was not a very nuanced tool; it was not helpful for students to access the information directly, as it did not seem to have an algorithm that helped to dig into the reasons why one major of interest or another to the student might not have been a good choice.
