Very user friendly to quickly and easily set up visuals. The quick overview when you first log in got me right to work. There are plenty of well-made templates.

I'm not sure this is really a con, but it seems like there are a lot of capabilities that it will take me some time to learn like pulling from other data sets and automation. I also don't have any interest in using AI.

As a basic diagramming and mind-mapping tool it works without an issue. You have all the shapes needed. It is simple enough for anyone to use

What I found bad about Lucidchart is the UI and collaboration with others compared to Miro. The UI looks outdated and takes the fun out of drawing. Collaborating with others is not seamless like Miro where you can collaborate in real-time, chat or take audio calls.

The ability to create large scale flow charts in a single screen.

Some of the user experience could be made easier.

The drag and drop were seamless and it made the process of creating a diagram very easy. The integration inside the diagram was also flawless.

Lucidchart felt heavy to use compared to other products available.

Great flexibility is what you can draw/layout. It is a great tool to add visual aid to complex ideas

I wish there were more pre-built symbol libraries for my industry (Telecom)

The various options and controls the application provides are the main likeable features of lucidchart. The collaboration that allows multiple users to see and edit simultaneously is a great feature.

Navigating through different libraries can be challenging for some users

i like you can upload an staff list into the system and it will create the org chart.
I also love the drag& drop as it makes life easier when creating floor plans

Lucidchart collection of editing tools makes creating of flowcharts so simple. It offers next-generation AI features that gives diagrams a unique visual design. Lucidchart makes it easy for me and my workmates to create diagrams together on a collaborative working space.

I have not felt like Lucidchart has anything to dislike whatsoever. All features has been pleasing.

Over a year ago, I used only Lucidchart for wireframing, process flow diagramming, and creating site maps for new website projects. The process flow diagramming and site map features and templates work really well and meet my needs more than other tools I've tried.

There are better wireframing tools than this one, and I switched to using a different online service in the last six months. I am trying to remember if it has templates to kickstart a project, but I found the implementation of creating unique wireframes/screens to be cumbersome enough to look elsewhere.

I like the ease of use, ability for the entire team to view at once and the ability to export to other programs when clients use other software.

Sometimes the spacing can be clunky if not careful in designing your workflow diagram but has not hampered my ability to use it.

I use Lucidchart for system diagrams, data modeling, and business process analysis/improvement. It's an excellent tool for all of these. Lucid is intuitive to use with simple drag & drop functionality. 90% of the features I'm looking for are available by sight or with a simple right-click of the mouse. The visualizations it provides helps to highlight process complexities that need to be simplified, and make collaboration with clients very straightforward.

Because Lucidchart is a web-based tool, its features lag in comparison to some installed options. The other thing that annoys me is how there does not seem to be any way to add a connector to a shape so that the connector will dynamically re-orient when I move the shape-- a very common occurrence when working to improve processes! I need to click the connector, hope I actually selected the right space (or else it creates a new connector), and drag it to a new connection point. Overall minor, but annoying.

Lucidchart provides a lot of useful features, it's easy to understand and the templates are pretty useful.

The price is a little expensive for what they provide. The free trial allows you to create up to 5 diagrams/flowcharts, which means that once you have 5, you need to delete one in order to create a new one.
