Great experience overall. Whenever I've had issues, customer service has always been kind and helpful.

Pros

It covers all our bases and allows me to post for all 6 of our dealerships, cross post across platforms, and bulk prep posts. This allows you to plan out your content and share it to Facebook & Instagram and anywhere else at once if you choose. Has lots of cool features and is always having some new updates and integrations.

Cons

Sometimes there are posting issues. Sometimes when you try to post a link with your content it tries to change it into an odd Buffer link. This makes the link look like spam

Been using it for years and never looked around for alternatives. I think this sums up my experience pretty well, although my needs are pretty basic

Pros

Buffer has been easy to set up and to learn to operate, it covered all my basic needs for years and never had me looking around for alternatives. It’s always been reliable (which is the most important thing in my opinion) and never felt overwhelming or confusing despite having a real lot of capabilities

Cons

The web interface could be perfectioned a bit maybe, but it’s just a minor complaint. The mobile app is very good though!

Overall, buffer is a good option for scheduling social media posts to various accounts. I would use again after they make some improvements.

Pros

Buffer was a good option for scheduling social media posts and send out them automatically using the scheduler. Like that you could send to various social media accounts all at once.

Cons

Sometime the scheduler would get out of sync and post did not go out when they should. There was no alert capability letting you know about failed posts.

Very good experience in overall, and amazing list of options available already with a free, or lowest plan account.

Pros

I am really amazed about the amount of feature that are already enable in the lowest plan that Buffer is offering. It is probably the best option for someone who want to start to work with such features, with a low budget

Cons

I rarely had cases were a post was not posting automatically as it was planned. But the only couple of times that this happened in about 2 years, I had a message immediately to inform me about it, and I could post it manually in no time...

I moved from a different platform that limited how many pending posts you could have. This has been a great move and I'm happy that I did it.

Pros

Buffer allows me to quickly and easily create and schedule posts for LinkedIn. It even has a handy place to store ideas to post later. I'm on the free version and can set up a large number of posts in advance. While I believe there's a limit, I haven't hit it. I usually have 5 or 6 pre-planned at any time.

It's easy to post, find the day on the calendar you wish to post and begin typing. You can narrow down the time to the exact minute you want to post. That's a very handy feature!

Cons

There are other features that would be helpful but you can only use them if you're on the paid plan. The system will ask if you want to do xyz then when you click yes you find out you have to pay for that feature. It would be nice if they would say up front, do you want to try xyz feature on the paid plan or something like that.

Great. It has become my go-to for startup projects or freelance projects.

Pros

Cons

I enjoy Buffer's simplicity and user friendly website and app. It makes schedule ahead a breeze and the amount of times I can schedule a post is great for the free version.

Pros

I enjoy that Buffer's interface is simple and user friendly. I didn't need a guide to go through setting up and scheduling my social media. The app works really great as well and is required if you want to post your Instagram posts because it doesn't do it automatically for you. The app will remind you it's time to post for Instagram and have the post ready for you, you just have to submit.

Cons

I'd prefer to not have to manually submit my Instagram posts, but not sure if that's only a feature required for the free plan. Never the less it's not the biggest con for me, just minor inconvenience if I'm busy living life.

We used Buffer before Meta Business Suite came along. We elected to stop using Buffer to schedule and publish content because MBS is way more reliable. We continued to use Buffer for analytics because our clients had grown attached to the elevated analytics. We stopped using it when we found cloud campaign.

Pros

The best part about buffer is the analytics reporting feature that is offered. We used this feature every month on multiple occasions and built our client reports around it.

Cons

The worst part about buffer was the constant pricing changes and lack of support.

Cons

Sometimes, the analytics are not quite right. For example, when I used this for Twitter reports, it didn't took into account posts I shared on Twitter without using Buffer.
