For me, it is a great platform to work with, and its simple user interface made it easy, and integration with other platforms also helped me to complete my daily tasks.
Pros
I have been using Google Drive for the past 7 years, and it is the best platform to store photos, emails, and many more. It helped me to share files and collaborate with other workspaces. It provides me security and privacy of files, so I don't need to worry.
Cons
Storage space is less, 15 GB, which is really less for me; I had to buy an extra 100 GB for my data, as the storage was full and I wasn't receiving emails.

I'm a HUGE fan of Google Drive, Sheet, Docs, Slides, etc.. They are so easy to use and we LOVE it!
Pros
We use Google Drive, Sheets and Docs all the time for our work and I don't why people use anything else. Makes it easy to use any device, constantly syncing, showing the revision, it's free and can be shared with anyone with a google account and that access removed as needed. I'm always surprised when people don't use Drive because it's that amazing!
Cons
There are a few features not offered that Microsoft does offer like being able to mail merge and print labels but usually we can find a free add on. But it's rare that we run into something that Drive products can't do.

The simple solutions for Internal teams
Reviewed on 8/11/2024

Overall, Google Drive is user-friendly, easy to onboard, and easy to manage for our internal team. The biggest challenge lies in working with external clients and partners.
Pros
Google Drive makes it easy for our team to collaborate on work, keep our files organized, and find what we need when we need it.
Cons
With the rollout of Shared Drives, we have had some challenges migrating content from My Drive to Shared Drives because of what we do. As an agency, we work with external clients, so the ability to grant access, share, and collaborate isn't as seamless as we'd like.
I also wish there was an option for creating Shared Drive templates. For example, we have a specific folder structure we use for new clients, and it would be nice to launch that from a template versus the workaround we created for it.

Google Drive is very practical and reliable with great access and integration. The storage limit and organization could be improved, but it remains essential in my day-to-day life.
Pros
I really like the cloud storage, Google Workspace integration, real-time collaboration, easy sharing, automatic backup, compatibility, fast search, and security.
Cons
The cons that I didn't like were the free storage limit of only 15 GB, the need for an internet connection, the sync speed, file organization, version control, privacy, collaboration limitations, and limited integration with other software.

My overall experience with Google Drive a excellent. Except just one point of less drive storage in the free plan, rest all features are great. I really like how multiple Google services can be integrated with Google Drive. I use these for my day to day work. This really have made my day to day work very easy. I can work on the same file from across my devices.
Pros
I have liked the following about Google Drive -
1. Mobility - I can have access to my files while on the move.
2. Availability - I can work on my files or access them from anywhere across the world.
3. Collaboration - I can collaborate with many people to work on the same file at the same time.
4. Back-Up - I really like the back up features of Google Drive. I can back up my files here.
5. Security - I like the security of the data, that comes with Google Drive platform.
6. Versions (File Version History) - This is the best part of Google Drive that I love the most. I can access the changes made to the file by me or anyone else through version history.
Cons
Though I really like using Google Drive, but I feel that 15GB of free storage is kind of less. Given the file size now a days and other Google services, a cumulative storage of 15GB seems to be less.

Overall experience with Google Drive has been amazing. It made file sharing very smooth and the size and quality of the files (documents, picture, video, etc) remains same. Once you change the permission, the effect takes almost immediately after refreshing which is fantastic. It saves a lot of time.
Pros
I love how easy it is to share files and folders in a organizational level with Google Drive. Also its security feature which allows the admin to set permission with whom we share the file/folder (Ex. view, edit ).
Cons

Google drive is a very good software my experience is great hence the reason why this is my go to software when it comes to files and documents, especially when i am looking to have these files long term. So far, I do not have any issue with google drive, it makes you feel comfortable using it and all age groups can understand how it works, no tutorials needed and i love how you can use google search as well .
Pros
Google drive is the best file storage software out there; You get 15gb storage of free it is easy to use works, well with google classroom and its easy to save and integrate other google platforms such as docs, workspaces, google slides and so on. No need to worry about losing files because it automatically back upfiles, so that make things stress free especially when rushing to get things done. I also love the offline feature and the fact that i can access the same files on multiple devices at once and most importantly your files are safe and secure.
Cons
I wish we would get more the 15 gb of free storage like before it is difficult to recover deleted files but overall its a good sofware to use.

It is a great tool to work with files in the cloud, it is very easy to share files and work with them directly from the cloud, allows you to edit files and manage viewing and download permissions easily, without installing any software because you work directly from the browser.
Pros
One of my favorite features is to be able to manage files from different devices, like a personal computer or a cell phone, so I can work with my files from different locations, besides being able to work in a team much easier, I like that it has enough storage capacity and if you do not have enough space you can buy larger capacities.
Cons
Being a cloud service, it is necessary to be constantly connected to be able to work with it, which limits the options to work offline, it is only impossible to work or edit files if you do not have an internet connection.

Very positive. We use Google Drive to house vast amounts of data, both internal and external, and it is effectively both a drop box and an immense storage area
Pros
Ease of use, the ability to control access and provide different layers from automatic (everyone within X organisation) to broad (anyone with a link) to individual (specific users)
Cons

I mostly use drive to access/organize google docs, google sheets, and google forms, and then share access to these with others. It has never failed me in this endeavor whether for business or fun.
Pros
Having access to this much software all in one place for an initial price of nothing is unbeatable. It is also so easy to navigate and use google drive to access all of that software.
Cons
Google drive needs a more modern layout that includes the ability to put the page in dark mode (the white screen kills my eyes.).
