I wish there was a tab for estimates. Such as scheduling an estimate with a customer, where than I can turn that into the quote

We actually took a break from Jobber and tried out a more sophisticated CRM that came highly recommended to us a couple of years ago. The monthly fees were way more expensive, and that CRM offered many more tried and tested features and "benefits" that would help our business grow. It just wasn't for us. It was complicated, hard to integrate, and harder for my employees to navigate. My field and office employees really enjoy Jobber much more. It meets every aspect of of my business' needs. I appreciate how I can add on and integrate other programs we need to my choosing. I am always able to contact customer support - not wait days for an email reply in order to schedule a zoom call a week from then. We have also seen the upgrades and changes Jobber has made over the years, which we have implemented and used. All in all, our experience with Jobber has been fantastic!

Pros

Jobber is a very user-friendly CRM, both PC and mobile. It meets the needs of my small company with functionality for specific tasks within estimates, jobs, memberships, and employee performance reports. We also appreciate how easy Jobber integrates with other programs like payroll, GPS and marketing. Also, whenever we need it, there is always excellent, friendly customer support staff who do their best to help answer any question.

Cons

There is nothing to "dislike" about Jobber. As there is always room for improvement, certain areas can be improved upon, such as merging duplicate clients, or being able to make progress payments on not just one-off jobs.

The Ease Of Use, the customer portal, the workflow from client inquiry to job scheduling and billing

Cons

When you have an issue or cancel, all your data is locked away from you so if you dont have a daily backup you could lose all your client information that is in the system

Overall, my experience with Jobber has been fantastic! It’s made running my business smoother by streamlining day-to-day operations and saving me time; in any service business, time is money, and Jobber allows me to dedicate my time to money-making tasks. The automation features and Client Hub have helped improve our efficiency and the client experience. I couldn’t imagine going back to how we did things before with another software that was twice the monthly investment!

Pros

Jobber has been such a game-changer for our business! The automation features make life so much easier by handling quotes, scheduling, invoicing, and even payment reminders and review requests—it’s like having an extra team member who never misses a beat. I also love the Client Hub because it gives our clients a super simple way to see their quotes, invoices, and schedules whenever they need them. It’s been a huge help in creating a better client experience and building trust, which has been a big part of our growth.

Cons

While I absolutely love Jobber, there are a couple of areas where I think it could improve. The reporting features, while helpful, could go a step further with more advanced options, like better tools for analyzing profitability by client or service type. I’ve also found that some of the workflows feel a bit rigid—it would be great to have more flexibility to customize certain processes to fit the unique needs of my business.

I wish there was an option to have more than 1 request form. We have multiple types of jobs that could be integrated into our website if additional request options were available.

Pros

Jobber runs smoothly, and does a great job of keeping everything centralized and efficient in our back end office as well as keeps the field well informed.

Cons

There are some tiny efficiency improvements or specific things that would greatly increase the value of the product. I find that Jobber still marks clients that are not active as active. (I don't archive them, perhaps that's the work around?) The schedule isn't shown while scheduling jobs or assessments, another small thing as I open a tab on a separate screen, and I was hoping to be able to leave notes for our staff at each step of the client journey, pertaining to that specific step. That is not a feature. The biggest thing is jobber has two time clocks but doesn't separate the hours when integrating with your payroll service. I pay 2 separate wages, one for driving (general time) and another for cleaning (Job time). I have to manually log the different times and then edit the payroll. It would also be helpful if I could set tips paid to auto distribute to employees that worked on that specific job compared to manually sourcing them and distributing.

Excellent when we decided to use jobber our business has become more organized and efficient it helps keep track of our returning customers and our new customers, also helps with communication with our customers by email we use the marketing opportunities to run special each month to generate business, stay on top of quotes, keep track of routes, employees profit proformance and overall company revenue. Hands down way better than the old fashion way of paper and pens we used to use. Jobber has helped bring my company from the mom and pop company of old to one of the major competitive company we have become.

Not much haven't had to many complaints, my employees find it easy to use and office staff like the way it keeps things organized. Customers seem to like the online payment opportunity and the abilities to review their account. Communication with custom is also a plus the online request helps keep the phone lines open for new business to call.

Everything is linked making it easy to track and make changes. We also are trying the marketing suite out, which so far is very user-friendly.

Cons

Not all features are available on the app, so we have to wait till were back in the shop or log into the desk top version. Also, it would be nice to be able to drag and drop photos instead of having to download then upload them.

Pros

Simple to use, good workflow, good mobile phone app, good technical support.

Cons

- Poorly designed 'user interface'. Not very intuitive.
- Lots of 'Bugs' and 'Bites" in the software. Many limitations too.
- Poor integration with QuickBooks online and Company Cam.
- No easy way to give feedback & recommend improvements

Jobber has made scheduling, quoting, invoicing, and communications with clients easy and all in one place. The reports provide detailed insights on almost every aspect of your businesses finances, growth, and performance in several other vital areas.

Cons

The lack of being able to create a service agreement within the quote so that clients can accept the quote and agree with our personalized service agreement at the same time. Due to the lack of this feature, we have had to spend over $300 per month on DocuSign purely based on the number of envelopes we send per month,

The staff I have interacted with have been pleasant and quite flexible with their scheduling. The training session was quite good and I look forward to being able to hire staff and have them effectively trained by the Jobber team.

Pros

I like the flow that starts with the customer request, converted to a quote, then to a job to schedule, then to an invoice at the completion of the job. It helps me alot being able to see what I am actively working on.

Cons

There are some quirks with QBO sync, but i have not experienced any major issues. Expense tracking is a little lackluster, you have to manually enter the data. Progress payments for larger jobs is cumbersome at first, there are methods, but I don't think they are well documented.

Pros

Jobber is a tool that works well out of the box. Having worked in complex health and manufacturing organizations, I have seen firsthand what sort of messes happen when the software as seen as the solution to all operational facets. Jobber works well to support companies that have good standard processes. It is also priced in an extremely accessible way for small business to get the advantages of such a complete field service management tool. They are savvy in that they can make money on credit card transactions but also provide this seamless transaction experience with the lowest transaction cost that we have encountered.

Cons

Change orders, pulling quoted options to a job, being able to update a job location once the job is created. Small inconveniences that we have workarounds for until the functionality is added.

Overall, Jobber is an amazing product. A product I wouldn't run my business without!! However, there is some room for improvement within the system to give the business owner more control over their files and billing.

Pros

I love how it saves me time. The old saying that time is money is extremely true but the song, "Cats In The Cradle" is also true. Kids grow up too fast so every single minute with them is priceless. Jobber saves me that time and gives me back priceless memories with my family I would have otherwise lost to processing invoices, quotes, and the like.

Cons

I feel like I have no control over Jobber's invoicing section or the client section. For example, I set up partial payments for a customer who is grossly overdue on her account. Although it says it is set up the system refuses to allow the customer to make the partial payment! For the clients I occasionally accidentally set up a new account for a customer, thinking they were new customers when in fact I have an account already set up for them. When I discover this mistake the system won't allow me to merge the two accounts! That makes a total mess of my records. On top of that, when I have a commercial customer or a renter who has set up an account with me and then says, "Oh, this needs to be put under such and such's name.", I'm kind of stuck because the system refuses to allow me to set up accounts for commercial clients or renters with a sub-account for their tenants or the owners they represent. These two issues lead to a lot of confusion for me and quite frankly drives me nuts!

Jobber has been such an asset for EDGE Cleaning Service. We have noticed since we started using the program, there is better teamwork, better follow-through with our services, and most importantly, better customer satisfaction. Each department within EDGE now operates with better clarity and efficiency. Jobber helped us deliver a more professional experience to our clients.

Pros

Jobber has revolutionized the way things get done here at EDGE Cleaning Service. It makes our team more organized and efficient than ever before. It gives us clear insight into every service, communicates to make the team well oiled, and helps in pulling off a seamless experience for our clients.

Cons

While Jobber has always been super helpful with all of the dealings, there are only a couple of things that we just absolutely would love to have: the ability to format the text in emails, insert hyperlinks rather than having full URLs and more flexibility regarding the status of clients, like being able to toggle among active, inactive, archived, or lead.

Pros

How good the program looks. It's seamless, easy to use, clients love the look of proposals. It's the iPhone of home service software.

Cons

The only thing I could say is that Jobber is a jack of all trades, literally. It works for plumbers, HVAC, cleaning companies, and landscapers like my self. They add features and integrations to help tailor the product to each trade.

Overall we have been with Jobber for 5+ years and it does everything we need and more. Highly recommend it to any company in the service industry.

Pros

The automatic invoicing, syncing of data to multiple different platforms, integration of reviews and marking, and ease of use! Jobber takes a lot of the follow-up and day-to-day busy tasks off our hands! Allows us to get back to what we are good at!

Cons

I'm not sure if it's a Jobber issue or a Gusto issue, but sometimes the timesheets don't sync. Other than that, no complaints!
