I used ShipStation for a couple years until they added postage fees to my account that were not for my shipments and wouldn't help me resolve it.
Pros
I liked that I could integrate ShipStation with my SquareSpace website and easily print postage for orders.
Cons
The customer service and follow up could use some improvement.

We love it …my sales team uses it. I use it. I track with it. We use it each day. We save money with it. It’s pretty user friendly. Can’t live without it now.
Pros
It’s pretty awesome. We had trouble before we found this with high shipping rates. This product saved us money and gave us a great way to manage and integrate all our shipping and orders. We are grateful.
Cons
Nothing. Even the customer service chat is good - ideally I’d like a phone number for customer service but that’s ok.

It's been working, but so many features are not implemented well. They do not listen to the community when it comes to improvement/needs. Some missing features from the new version that are necessary for an efficient workflow.
It's really easy to make a mistake while shipping/combining and there's no way to undo the mistake without crazy work arounds. They took a working program and turned it into garbage.
Pros
The only option I can find that integrates into our workflow
Cons
New version broke a lot of the necessary features I need

Bum. Desperately need alternative.
Pros
Great when it worked. Best when I could use my own carrier without selling my firstborn.
Cons
No support. Literally ignored community posts and feedback for years and years. Not so much as an acknowledgement. Currently facing two MAJOR bugs preventing me from using their product and fulfilling my orders without tons of manual intervention. 3+ months and NO response. I am pretty sure they are failing and going bankrupt, suckering people out of as much money as possible before they completely fail.

I would stay away from them completely unless they hire new staff and rebuild their software and their customer support team. They are unresponsive, lack knowledge, and always point their finger at someone else as the root cause of the issue, even when it ultimately comes down to their poorly written software.
Pros
When we implemented it, it was a big step up from ShippingEasy in terms of feature set and ease of use.
Cons
Their software is not updated in a timely manner, so when Shopify makes an update , ShipStation no longer works and you are sitting waiting for 6+ months for them to actually fix it so that you can get orders out without the fear that things are not going to work.

Great in the beginning & horrible in the end
Pros
It was easy to use n it had lots of great features easy made labels, tracking, inventory management , choice of couriers, prices were good when quoted to u, do e-commerce , distribution & more was great n the beginning
Cons
They would overcharge me all the time if the package was half a pound over weight instead of just having 2 pay a lil extra it's like they would void what u paid already & make u pay a what itd cost 2 shipped like u hadn't paid, & 1 time I paid 6$ to ship 1 piece of wall decal that was barely heavier than a reg piece of paper & they said it weighted 7 pounds yet it didn't even weigh 1 pound they charged me like 12$ on top of the $6 id paid ahead of time 4 basically a 8×10 piece of paper. After being over charged 15 times I never used them again
