It's more impressive than I thought at beginning

I start using the software since the v 3.0 of what was only called Premiere and considered a toy for editing, Then I migrated to another editing software considered the standard for editing but I never give up the use of Premiere then its giant brother Premiere Pro. I think that the giant leap happened when the movie Avatar was created with Adobe products. Anyhow the chance to detach any panel of the UI and make your custom workspace it's important as well as little innovation like having audio meter in the track and more. If do you have to start editing I suggest Premiere Pro because it's more intuitive than others besides you can also run it in almost any machine with little problems, while others such as Avid needs very specific requirements and if you don't buy their machine very often their support ignore your issue. I remember I used Premiere Pro 2.0 in a very old office PC.
Enjoy editing, it's a great work!
Pros
The UI is very easy and clean that is a must for me, besides the integration with other products such as Audition, Photoshop, etc. make it more flexible than other software. It has anything you need to make a good work from low level to cinema quality
Cons
The use in cloud is not my preferred way of working. No specific annoyance except you cannot direct import project from DaVinci Resolve and so far Blackmagic raw file format is not native accepted but you have to use a plugin created by the black magic.

With years it has gotten better, no more crashing, and the features it keeps adding save me a lot of time. I can do more in less time.
Pros
I can do some editing that would take me long in a really short amount of time. It keeps adding new features from time to time, providing tutorials to start using them right away.
Cons
One thing only; exporting transparent animated gif. I could never find the best settings to get a decent file.

I use Premiere as a badge to demonstrate my company is on par, if not exceeding industry standards. Often times, I mention we use Premiere. I never commit to saying we ONLY use Premiere. Most of our work is performed on Final Cut Pro. Our results are always above expectation. When a client asks for working files, I lower the boom on them about FCPX. Often times, they're flummoxed that anything other than Adobe Premiere could create that level of quality output.
Pros
The biggest advantage of Premiere is the acceptance of it as the industry standard. Mastering Premiere is more likely to land you jobs, gigs, etc and establish your credibility as a seasoned editor. Doesn't necessarily mean it's the best editor on the market
Cons
Adobe is notorious for overcomplicating simple steps and actions. Layer upon layer upon layer of diving into specifications of a specific piece of footage/animation/etc becomes tedious and time consuming. I liken it to Adobe = Windows vs let's say Final Cut Pro = Mac. One is more hierarchy-based organization that lacks in usability while the other accomplishes the same tasks quicker and more efficiently BECAUSE of a focus on user experience.
Reasons for Switching to Adobe Premiere Pro
I didn't. I simply use it as a checkbox to avoid confusing conversation when explaining my company's level of competency. When required, we use Premiere on a basic level. Then, we often export the XML into Final Cut Pro and add additional editing from there.- Industry: Consumer Goods

I am using Abobe premiere pro for my youtube content creation. It is so exciting me everyday with ease of its workspace and accuracy. The flow of editing is quite easy. The project files doesnot need much space while saving. And it is one of the best software for video editing across the world and used by many professionals in film making.
Pros
Its user interface and customisable workspace is the best thing about premiere pro. And it has various export options there. Many default plugins were professionally used.
Cons
Software crashes some time on overload, so that the content might be deleted. It is the only concern in this software I worried about.

It provides advanced functionalities that enable me to edit videos with ease & flexibility. I highly recommend it.
Pros
I like Premier Pro because of its comprehensive video editing tools. It offers a wide array of tools that allow trimming, cutting, ting, and arranging elements with precision and control. It also provides other advanced editing features like keyframe animation, advanced color-grading, and multi-camera editing, which are all essential for creating quality grading videos. In the beginning, it might appear challenging but becomes very easy over time. Among the few Adobe tools that I've tried out, Premiere Pro appears to be the simplest one.- It also helps to make tweaks to audio from other sources like adding effects (reverbs, panning, and equalizing them properly).
Cons
- Fast rendering fully relies on the GPU acceleration to be effective and this requires the PC to be highly performant.- Encoder comes in a separate state which can be quite stressful to install.

In this time of digital content, Adobe premiere is the best one to mix multiple codecs and have a fast and professional video edition. The new auto features involving audio edition, nulti cam and Adobe essential make it the best one.
Cons

My overall experience was very cool. I edited more than 500 videos on premiere pro and they all went smooth and exciting as well. It turned out to be my hobby.
Pros
The easy interface and glamorous features like shadowing, transition templates and smooth editing even for a big sized videos 8k and stuff. A very dependable app for any youtuber or videographer and of course one of the best editing apps
Cons

I make videos for industry clients. And I have been using this software for 2 years. And the features are never-exhausting. There is so much you can do with just this tool. It is great for advanced professionals but also very handy for beginners. So, to summarize, my experience has been great!
Pros
I've never used a better video editor than this one. 1. Support multiple audio and video formats like: MP4, MOV, AVI, WAV, and MP3. This helps in avoiding the transcoding of one file into another.2. Easy Color Grading: It allows color grading using Lumetri color. It is very precise in terms of color, contrast, and brightness.3. Support with other tools: It integrates with other tools like After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator easily. This is my favorite feature as I am able to use the best of all tools and integrate them all in one video.4. High-quality audio editing: As a video creator, I need bits and pieces from number of videos, but sometimes I need to delete the background noise. Adobe has an awesome feature named 'Adobe Audition' that does the job.5. Great in stabilizing footage. Also, applying the effects like clips, Motion Controls (Position, Scale, Rotation, and Anchor Point), and Opacity.6. Libraries: Users can share their work, like graphics, logos, and photos on cloud space.Learning this tool was easy and comfortable. You just need to edit one video on your own, and you'll get adapted to its features more and more as you go through.
Cons
Although each content creator has its own opinion, I feel that the following things can be improved.1. Limited audio features: Although there are many video editing options, audio options should also be more.2. Automatic editing: It must have a preset option that can edit the picture or video on its own and give an option/recommendation to user. This can be done by integrating AI tools.4. Collabortive space: Just like live ppt or spreadsheet, live editing options must be there, where multiple users can edit the file simultaneously.

Premiere Pro Review
Reviewed on 9/05/2024
Pros
One of the main things I really like about Adobe Premiere Pro is how optimal it is and how "professional" it looks. The result of the video looks great and there's so many features such as green screening and transitions, which is beyond useful.
Cons
One of my biggest complaints about Premiere Pro is how "condescending" it looks. This is because there are a LOT of features and it's almost impossible to go through it without a walkthrough. However, the cost of doing that and the result of the video is very worth it.

I value it pretty positive, as it is difficult to find something that this software is no able to do, so it could be so helpful to have an unified program.
Pros
I would say this software has a "leraning-curve" harder that some other softwares, but its potential is rather much bigger than other ones, and once you get used to it is really difficult to find another program which you would like better.
Cons
As I said, the learning curve may be way too difficult sometimes and in some cases. Hopefully, there are also a lot of online helping services that will make the path much easier.

The King of Editing Software
Reviewed on 12/04/2024
Pros
If you've used any other editing software, Premiere Pro will come naturally.
The software is industry standard for a reason... it is easy to pick up, easy to master. Everything functionally just makes sense, it is all in the right place and just works.
Cons
It can have some encoder issues, and the subscription price model is a pain, though understandable.
