Most features I required in a single bundle for a reasonable price. At the time of purchase, and truly unlimited license as available.

I purchased and "Unlimited" license for this software. Since then, their license has changed and now expires the moment you have to replace your computer or motherboard. They will not allow you to transfer your license to your new computer. They do offer you a "discount" to buy another license but, in my case, their discounted price was greater than what I paid for the original "unlimited" license. I refused.

The feature that was most impactful for me, was the editing features and the media library options. I use these tools to edit out, a video that isn't focused or has a situation in it that the Corporation can't use for the whole company.

I wish there were more available items to cover up, add to, and an easier "flattening" of tiers when using multiple tiers to edit videos.

I like AVS Video Editor because of the simplicity of making seamless videos from a variety of formats into one cohesive video.

I like being able to caption videos, but I have trouble always figuring out how to save them in a way that the captioning is a part of the video. This is more a user issue than a program issue.

AVS Video editor offers many features found in more expensive software. It is intuitive and easy to use. In fact, I spent about an hour teaching my teenage daughter the ins and outs of the software. She understood it and was quickly able to adopt the platform and create her first product.

When I had issues with the latest version now playing nice with the latest version of Windows, the support was amazing for a product I purchased one time...years ago.

I like there whole suite of products.

Despite having adequate memory and processor speed on my computer(s) (I have had the editor software on a few different computers over the years), it Editor software seems to require extra compute resources. Not just during the expected "Produce" process, but when layering aspects of your project. This is where patience come in and the reminder that this software is doing amazing things not (easily or affordably) possible by the consumer a dozen years ago.

I also wish some of the default font templets were more basic. While everything is customizable, it takes extra time to take a "fancy" template and simplify it for my "basic" needs.

Using the program is simplicity itself. When working on multiple video projects, ease of use is essential.

There are too many formats from which to choose. It gets very confusing to know which is the perfect one for any given application.

For basic purposes, it is very easy to use, very simple and create videos. I am using it for 10 years and I am satisfied with it.

I have an issue working with subtitles when I need it and finding a text format to overlay the videos.

The video effects could be upgraded. I have been using this product for 10 years and this feature never changes.

Has all the essential features to create a professional video clip.Format changes, audio tracks, split/merge/splice are all very easy.Intuitive and drag-n-drop style is easy to learn.Well done AVS !

Sometimes the minor features swamp the GUI.Keeping advanced features layered in other menus might lead to a less cluttered interface.Help tips (options to click on) along the way would be good.

I like being able to make quick edits (5-10 minutes) or being able to be as precise with edits as my patience will allow.

The Audio editing feature is my least desirable part of the Video Editor. Some improvement could happen here when making changes in volume and noise reduction. Equalizer could be a bit more variable and not so abrupt. Knowing what my limitations are, I try to get the best audio settings when making the initial video recording.

If you want something inexpensive and quick to understand and implement, AVS Video Editor is the way to go! What's not to love? Great price, amazing features and options, any file format to work in and save in, and so much more. It takes NO time to understand this software. Simplicity without losing quality and performance.
Word of Advice: Get AVS Audio Editor to go with it! You will have it all!

I can't think of any thing I like least about this software. My only regret is not getting it sooner!

I think the overall simplicity of using it at the beginning was a big plus. Then as you slowly learn to use all the features it becomes more valuable to you.

Actually there is nothing I totally dislike about the software. Even the learning curve was mild compared to other similar software's I've tried and which were much more expensive.

During COVID, we were producing videos on a weekly basis. This software was a lifesaver in enabling us to put together presentations, add video clips, edit out mistakes and end up with a good final product. I still use it some to edit video clips for use in our meetings.

Maybe it is in the software and I don't know how to use it, but it would be nice to be able to change a full screen video to a widescreen.

The UX/UI provides a simple front end - making it easy to use.

Text overlay has limited animation and effects options. Direct access to stock audio and video library’s would be a great addition.

I use the full suite of AVS products. One shot and I have all the tools I need onstead of multiple different products.

AVS is a tad light weight but for what I use it for I do not need more elaborate and expensive programs

The full spectrum of features make editing productive and precise. All AVS products focus on the key functions I need, without the overly complicated alternatives.

None come to mind. All AVS products are outstanding. An example is ripping my previously authored Blu-Ray discs. Every other product I (bought and) tried only delivered partial video files. I am very happy that AVS gave it all.

I like this software because it helps me to create promotional videos for my business and post them on my social media pages to attract consumers.

This app have few editing options and it only enable me to use same editing now and again which it shows no innovation.

I've not had the chance to use every feature in this package, but the the many I use are uncomplicated and user-friendly, actually fun to work with and always produce a professional result for every project I undertake.

That when I had to migrate it (and the rest of the AVS Suite) over to a new computer, they made me take out a new life time license. I wasn't told that life-time was defined as the computer's life, not mine.

This software is easy to use, especially for those who are not technically sophisticated (like myself)

Sometimes in editing, the picture freezes while the audio continues but when I render it , it comes out fine
