I love the ease and the benefits that I get from the program and I wouldn’t trade it to go back down to paper and pen to manage this company

Pros

The way that it gives me every one of the advantages and elements of a standard business the board programming program while not paying or have the PC space to have the whole QuickBooks program I love the way that I can likewise sign on PCs since I just need an And There every one of my documents are upheld on it.

Cons

I disdain the way that I'm at Peril to Have every one of my records deleted or split the difference.

Easy and simple to use with quick learning period to start using. Integrations are easy to setup and make life easier. Main dashboard provides good overall view of my business finances

Pros

Easy to use and find online guides if there is something I don't understand or need help with. There are lots of integrations that make life easier with accounts payable, inventory, etc.

Cons

Nothing in particular stands out feature-wise. would of course be nicer to have a cheaper monthly cost for the same features.

I have had so many issues with Quicbooks, over charging for secific payroll and bookeeping services, for stating there are certain features and then they dont have that capability, and lastly holding my clients payments for an extensive amount of time even with the linked bank account and when my client paid the invvoice themselves.

Pros

How Quickbooks has a lined Bank Account.

Cons

Everything Else. Quickbooks is the "Jack of all Trades, Master of None"

Poorly designed program. There are much better options out there if Intuit is going to force people off Desktop with their ridiculous price increases.

Pros

Cloud based that I could access from anywhere

Cons

Just about everything else. It's menus are poorly designed, and even accounting professionals have difficulty figuring out how to enter various transactions. Something as simple as "Make deposit" or "Enter credit card transaction" requires digging. The reports are terrible. The initial Chart of Accounts that new clients are set up with is horrendous. Most small businesses don't need half the accounts they start you out with, and there is no way to Delete after they are set up. When you click on the dropdown menu to find the right account when entering a transaction, there is no rhyme nor reason to the order they show up in, unlike Desktop where the Assets were on top, then Liabilities, Equity, Income & Expense all sorted alphabetically. The column widths are not set correctly by default - some are way wider than they need to be, others like the Memo column are chopped off so you can't see half of what was entered there. You can then mess around with it to try and resize everything, but when you print it doesn't looks like the screen and is still not legible. Most CPA"s I know have just given up and instead export the report to Excel and them modify it there (big time waster). In addition, Intuit has ads embedded everywhere in their software to try and promote all their other products and services. They also try to lure clients over from Desktop with cheap initial pricing. We've all seen what they did with the Desktop pricing, which has gone up over 800% in 4 years. Never have I seen a company that had accumulated 25+ years of Goodwill with happy customers destroy their relationship with them in such a short period of time.

Overall, From beginning to end, and with out a doubt, i highly recommend quickbooks online to both business owners or just someone looking to make filing their taxes a little more simple come tax time; by utilizing a software that really covers it all. I regret not one payment made to this software. As a subscription/account holder I get what i need and then some, making the values of the software over what you pay for the service. I definently feel as though i get my moneys worth out of this program. This software features multiple ways of connecting a helping hand towards other business matters or personal finance organization, which is great for my circumstance. A wonderful software, ease of access, comfort/peace of mind granted through the integration features offered through, and in connection to this software. I highly rate Quickbooks online, and after years of use have consistently recommended this software to collegues, friends, and family.

Pros

As for my personal experience with quickbooks online, I have rated this software highly. As there are several diverse atributes to my liking, one that stands out the most for me is the integration feature. As a business owner this feature has been optimal for my use in the office and for my personal financing. I have integrated my CRM software with my quickbooks online account, which eliviates so much time and grants the ease of knowing record is being kept of my customer relations as needed. I have integrated that of each of my banking accounts, both business and personal, and have not a single complaint thus far. This is of years worth of continued use with the software. I am a paid subscriber with quickbooks online. I am billed monthly for the subscription. Ive used quickbooks online for approximately 4 years, and will continue on as a very pleased customer.

Cons

As for what i care for the least about quickbooks online is something very managable, for it came with feasible solution. When i first began with the software it did take some getting used to. I am technologically advanced in both system softwares and application softwares. So, in knowing that, and going in equipt with the basic foundation or fundamentals in operation i feel the software might could use a bit more user friendly features or functions that target the ones going into a software that doesnt have these to their advantage, for say.

QuickBooks Online, the Swiss army knife of accounting software

Overall, integrating Intuit and QuickBooks Online into our company operations has significantly improved overall operations management and allows us to easily asses our finances to align ourselves best to make positive decisions to build our company.

Pros

Quickbooks is the leading standard in accounting software, and for good reason. Quickbooks has allowed our company to manage our accounting in house and produce financial reports, readily available for our project and quarterly meetings. Having our team be able to track their hours on their devices makes it easier to log hours and have them approved on time for payroll. The visual expense charts allow us to view at a glance our finances without having to delve into a slue of information to extrapolate key information.

Cons

While having a myriad of options available on QuickBooks Online, it does lack some of the features available in the desktop version. There are limited customization option which has mostly been ok for us as we have integrated the system gradually. The only downside for us has been the initial requirement to input information manually.

Why is QB becoming so expensive? I originally chose QB because of loyalty to Intuit. I tried for a while but trying to get my finances in order after so long of commingling my business and personal accounts became too much. When I decided to try it again recently, now I am far priced out as a small business and as far as I know, the services are the same. I found the price hike highly disappointing. It was a good time to find out Clio began offering accounting for attorneys

Pros

I liked that it integrates with Clio as well as the other intuit product line; the interface is fairly navigable, but i am unsure the pros outweigh certain drawbacks

Cons

QB was fine, a bit hard to understand for a non-accountant; but I guess that could be because i never made use of their expert help and insisted on onboarding myself totally manually as a new businessperson

QuickBooks Online is horrendous. The system is slow to do anything, it seems every task takes longer than QuickBooks Desktop. It takes days to process payments; keep being told a "glitch" that flags EVERY payment as suspicious. Clients are getting angry it takes so long to process payments. The overall experience has been okay. From an accessibility standpoint, it is a step up from QuickBooks Desktop. That said, it still seems that the platform is far off from seamless usage and highly-advantageous features.

Pros

QuickBooks Online notably provides key accessibility benefits. The platform itself is easy to navigate around, and often quick at responding. QB seems to be continuing creating updates + new features.

Cons

QuickBooks Online has become increasingly difficult to use. Their ongoing development + updates is a good thing, however, oftentimes it creates a very buggy user experience. For example, some features will work one day, not work the next, then return a week later.

Really dislike that we no longer can open invoices by clicking on the line item, but have to navigate over to the View/Edit button over to the right.

Always hoping for the release of granular permissions / access controls, but not sure it is coming.

Pros

Quickbooks Online is your one stop shop for business accounting and operations. We have used quickbooks since 2014 for our businesses. It has amazing features to help automate the process such as uploading bank statements so you don't have to make manual entries

Cons

I dislike the fact that If i am invoicing several businesses at once, I have to individually do the invoices. I wish there was a screen that I can make ONE INVOICE and apply it to several different companies and send. You can tell that QuickBooks is starting to integrate directly with other services which has its pros and cons. The fact that it’s prettty specific on certain integrations makes it seem more like a limiting monopoly than a truly large business asset you can’t live without. It’s pretty telling when any good accountant dreads having to work within QuickBooks to do any accounting. It’s more of a hub for people that need basic, limiting accounting, that are willing to integrate other apps that have partnered or are owned by QuickBooks. The cost you pay you would think their would be more of a CRM integration with QuickBooks or a sister product for overall business management and quoting/invoicing. However, we’re planning to totally move away because the cost has gotten insane.

Pros

The ease of access, desktop to mobile. The loan options they have were pretty cool, and were better deals than other banks.

Cons

Where do I start? Everything is extremely limiting and cookie cutter. It’s very expensive for not having any sort of customization of invoices or estimates. The fact you can hardly get ahold of a live person that isn’t just a call center tech is aggravating. QuickBooks needs to understand that a business presentation to a client can make or break jobs, yet it gives very limiting options to how you can present.

I am happy with QuickBooks Online because it makes running a business easy. I am able to view and pay bills along with send out invoices all through QuickBooks. I am able to run reports on open orders and helps me stay on top of things.

Pros

The thing I liked most about QuickBooks Online was the ability to quick report an item and see past purchase orders, sales orders, bills and invoices.

Cons

The thing I liked least about Quickbooks Online was the inability to search items through quotes. It makes it difficult to view how many times an item has been quoted.
