It is really quick and easy to use. Data entry is simple. Its layout is very well designed which makes navigation quick. It looks neat and uncluttered. It is extremely well priced. The reports are professional and look great, and offer lots of ways of reporting summaries and detail. I can get summary information for the week/month/year in a few seconds.

Nothing. It just does what it says. It is a pleasure to use.

Lack of integration with Google Workspace calendar and email notification deny-view-approve feature. I must log into the portal to see when my team is out. I should be able to see this in a team calendar through our Google calendar instead. The email notifications only have an approve button. What if I want to look at the request or deny the request? One-click on that notification email approves it. I should have a choice. This would be a simple update and the Clockify support folks ignored our feature request.

I really appreciate how easy it is to add new clients and set up projects with tasks in Clockify. The process is smooth and intuitive, which saves a lot of time when managing multiple projects with multiple clients. Additionally, the wide range of integration options is fantastic, allowing seamless connections with other tools I use, making workflow automation and project management even more efficient.

The integrations could be more robust and comprehensive. For example, the integration with Jira (an Atlassian product) doesn't fully align with its hierarchy, making it difficult to effectively track time directly from the Jira environment.

I can easily start my timer with the task I am doing.

I don't really like how I can't customize the experience, like the colors and background. And that I have to pay to pause my timer.

What I love most about Clockify is how seamlessly you can manually add shifts—it’s incredibly easy to use. The customization options are fantastic, allowing me to tailor the tool to my specific needs. Plus, the fact that it’s free is a huge bonus. I also appreciate the flexibility in generating reports, whether you need a detailed breakdown or a more grouped overview. It’s a great tool for managing time efficiently, and as someone who used it for construction projects, I found it perfect for both individual and team-based work.

What I liked least about Clockify is that it doesn’t have a built-in time tracker that can take screenshots during shifts. While it’s not a dealbreaker, it would be a great feature to add for enhanced tracking and accountability. It's more of a suggestion than a complaint, as the software overall works excellently for my needs.

The browser extension, web app, and phone app all work super well and stay in sync.

I have nothing bad to say about it. I think I've seen it glitch like one or two times total in my 2+ years of using it.

I love the simple interface, the flexibility it offers me, and the fact that I can track my time without having to upgrade to a team plan that I won't need as a solo business owner.

Clockify is my behind-the-scenes tool for tracking everything I do inn my business and reflect on where I spend my time. I've tried so many other tracking tools that keep pushing new, fancier updates when sometimes (most of the time for me!), all I need is a reliable tool I can count on without any extras. Clockify has been my absolute favorite.

It's hard to find anything I'm not happy with when A) it's free and B) in those very rare cases that an outage happens, support has been helpful and proactive in getting it solved. My only wish is that Clockify stays consistent and just as functionally superior to all those other SaaS apps that constantly find things to add or tweak that directly mess up the user experience.

The ease of use for people submitting time and the different reports available. It is so easy for me to find out how much time I spent on a certain customer or even reoccuring tasks.
There are a few different integrations that are available and it helps me stay organized. It relieves stress knowing that I do not have to remember to track time. Speaking of stress reliever, the site has never been down anytime that I try to access it!

There is not a lot that I do not like, the only thing I can think of is that it did take some time to get used to inputting my time and figuring out what method worked best for me.

Ease of use. Once set up I can quickly switch from one client to another with no more than one press.

The kiosk requires login in each day for each user. I cannot have each worker have a kiosk copy so they can clock in as the move from job to job without my logging in or giving them my account password or upgrading subscription(recent change). Where the security in that? The kiosk also displays in a very tiny font for no reason making it unreadable without a magnifying glass. Workers find it easier to just send me their times, which defeats the reason for having the app.

I appreciate how much organization it offers, even without moving to the paid version. Color coding, tons of projects, tasks within projects, options to make each individual project billable or not... It's so helpful since I track time for my own projects as well as projects done for other clients, and I can cleanly separate out things when pulling reports. I'm a big fan!

It was a little difficult to update my information when one of my clients upped my pay rate. I had to individually change the information for each of the times I'd already clocked, but I get that it's what happens when you don't upgrade to the paid version. Not too big of a deal.

What I liked least about Clockify is that the free version can feel limited when managing larger teams or more complex projects, as some advanced features, like more detailed reporting or extra integrations, are only available in the paid plans. Additionally, while the interface is user-friendly, occasional glitches or sync issues between the desktop and mobile apps can be frustrating, especially when tracking time across devices. A more robust offline mode would also be helpful for times when internet access is unreliable.

It is well built site, organized quite well if I'm being honest. I like that there is a timesheet, which is most useful for adding reports daily and that there is also a dashboard, which you can personalize to your liking. Also, the fact that you can separate reports divided by projects is pretty useful too and also by billable and non billable. Really a good app.

The only thing I have against Clockify is that you cannot produce reports based on personalized dates, but instead, you've to be content with having just: daily, weekly, monthly or yearly, there's no option for a Quartile or any other which would be pretty useful.

Clockify serves its purpose. I like how it helps people track time efficiently. The ability to generate reports and insights on productivity is a huge plus, too!
