Like anything there is a learning curve and the set up of all the features does take some time - but man is it worth it!

Pros
The idea that one software may be enough for many employers. It has the capacity to run a small or large business. It has many features most people would not have realized they needed such as forms, a directory option, rewards, chat, and documents section.
Cons
The task manager would be even better if it had the option to change statuses like "to do" "pending" "in progress" "follow up" "complete" etc. Also another feature I would like added is a folder and list section within the task management portion. Everything else about Connecteam is amazing!
Reasons for Switching to Connecteam
Better integration and options. I use ClickUp for the task management service at this time but Connecteam for scheduling, chat, payroll, timesheets, communication, keeping track and organized.Response from Connecteam

Their "customer service" is all online through chat, and they will always "put in a fix" and then...
Their "customer service" is all online through chat, and they will always "put in a fix" and then expect you to go read some stupid newsletter to see if the fix has been implemented. They can't seem to see anything from their end as well, so they're constantly asking me for screenshots or videos of the issues. Their managers don't seem to care either. I had a video chat with one to discuss a bunch of the time-eating features, he didn't take any notes and only seemed interested in one thing that "should've been working," and still doesn't. They clearly don't care that their product is sub-par.
Pros
The employee use and ease is great. They love it. I hate it as the person who has to put things in, it's so un-intuitive and I spend WAY to much time scheduling.
Cons
They've clearly not done good product testing in this program, simples tasks like right-clicks and basic functions just aren't there. It's A LOT of mouse clicks to schedule anything. It is sold as a time saving program, but it's not, and I consider myself pretty tech-savvy. It's just very not user-friendly.

We're sorry to hear you have such negative feelings about the platform and would like to improve as much as we can.
As for the schedule - did you try to have a live meeting with your account manager? That can help us understand what's important for you when scheduling your team, and advise on the best tools to do that (templates, open shifts, repetitions, etc.).
As for the customer service you've received, the reason the team asks for screenshots or videos is in order to identify the problem. If it's a technical issue that's not happening in all accounts, it means we can't reproduce it. If we can't reproduce it, we can't understand what needs to be fixed. While this can be annoying, it's important so we can help. If it's not a technical issue, we need to understand exactly what you're doing in order to advise.

As for managing group chats, we have the manual way which is similar to any other chat app, by selecting group participants manually. But what really sets us apart is the ability to manage chat groups automatically using our Smart Groups feature, which will add and remove users automatically based on a set of custom rules to your selection :)
If you're a system admin, you can manage those groups from your dashboard (set it once and let it fly), and if you're not an admin, feel free to reach out to them with suggestions for improvements as they can control if users can or can't groups, with whom, and so on :)

Easy operation to manage worker time and schedule for everyone shift. Automating the attendance tracking to prevent mismanagement issues that we had with manual operation.
Cons
Onboarding is a bit tricky and challenging because the documentation isn't detailed enough.

Pros
Connecteam lets me manage my employees effortlessly. Everything is in one place - our Schedule which we use daily for picking up, switching shifts, requesting time off, viewing a week, a day or a month in advance. The Task assignment option is great for delegating assignments, keeping up with employee productivity and sharing lists. I love the chat feature to keep us all connected. This app is really a to-do list, calendar, shift manager, time-keeper, and messenger all-in-one. This takes the place of what might be several apps. It is a priceless tool in my day-to-day workload that makes everything seamless.
Cons
I wish the clock-in aspect was a little easier to punch in and out when on the go, but overall is easy to maneuver.

As for the support chat - we have 24/7, live, human reps available :) Sometimes, when there are simple questions that their answers can be easily found in our help center, the bot kicks in to refer the user to the right answer, but if it's not the bot - it's 100% human being :)

Super user friendly. Has an immense amount of features compared to other software. I love their attention to detail. They have literally thought of everything!!
Cons
I have mentioned to some of the staff that I have employees with different job roles that have different pay rates. There is no feature for me to enter the same employee but with a different job role/pay rate. It is only one job so for that one I am unable to use the software. A real shame. Hopefully this will be added soon.

You can definitely have different jobs for employees to use on their day-to-day, but you're right that there's no pay rate per job at the moment (only per employee), although you'll be happy to know that's coming within the next few months as part of a big update we're working on :)

I like that the high level items I need are intuitive to find, and the chat support is amazing.
Cons
I don't like not knowing the default settings when I signed up (like it defaults to employees accepting or declining shifts ugh). Settings like this are not easy to find, so I have to use the chat support all the time. Also, setting up users and user groups for chats still isn't super clear to me. I don't like being directed to watch a video about it. I have a gazillion other things to do, so I need it to be quick and easy.

Connecteam's platform replaces 6-7 different tools for a business, even more. It means there's plenty to customize, and each product in the platform has its own stand-alone capabilities. To understand the settings for a specific product, like the schedule, access the schedule's settings menu, where you can tweak it to your liking. The same goes for any other product, like the chat, time clock, and so on. As for everything else you can do, and yes, there's a lot, we have a dedicated help center, weekly live webinars, the support chat that you like, and walkthrough videos for you to learn from. This product was recommended to us by another respected business in our field that uses many features of Connecteams. Since purchasing this product we have continued to see its value and new ways to use it to make us a better functioning team. Team members find it intuitive and our Admin team enjoy having so many functions all in one place.

No real cons just wish it would have even more capability options so I need to use less applications when running our small business.

Under the Integrations section in the Time Clock's settings menu, there's an option to vote for the integrations you'd like to see next. Please place your vote to help push it forward :) Also, did you try to use the custom report option? You can highly adjust the timesheets, which can help with quickly importing them to your payroll software. Give it a go and let us know your thoughts :) Thanks!
