I like how seamless Duo Security integrates into my authentication process. The mobile app makes 2FA easy with a variety of methods to navigate authentication.

I don't have any cons about Duo Security from the end-user perspective. An initial concern was that 2FA would be excessive, but with how integrated mobile devices have become with everyday life, it only takes a few seconds to add an additional layer of security to protect my organization's data.

What it does, it does extremely well. Don't get me wrong. The handshakes between devices for multifactor authentication are akin to Apple/Google speed. I was very impressed.

Anytime you introduce a product that literally requires another device to be present in order for it to function, but that required device isn't provided by the employer, you're gonna have some upset folks. Having an app that people HAD to have to access their computers/email/wifi/etc., that was only downloadable on Mobile iOS or Android, but not supplying those people with the phone that they clearly needed.. we got rid of it pretty fast. Better options exist.

The best thing about Duo Security is its reliability and security. Duo provides great solution for 2FA, it is fast and easy to use.

I did not encounter any issues with Duo Security.

I like MFA use in this tool. It is flexible and fast. Customization is given it's place giving the users an adaptive access. After setting up the tool and interfacing, the user has complete control and device visibility. There is scheduled device health check to ensure authentication of our services.

No doubts. Secure and reliable. Offers the most outstanding endpoint visibility and control.

Sometimes the login of Duo doesnt work and it is frustrating

While using Duo Security, there hasn't been any issues.

One thing I really like about Duo Security is that you can secure many things with the app. I mainly use it to log into anything that's school related, but there can another layer of security for other things like social media accounts.

One thing I don't like about Duo Security is how often it tells me to redo the two factor authentication. I get the importance, but it's so annoying when you're in a rush and you see that you need to log in to the Duo Security app to continue. It's even more frustrating when it refuses to connect at times.

Duo provides a layer of protection that companies need to keep their employees protected. Strong passwords alone are not enough to keep social engineering attacks and credential harvesting schemes at bay. This is why Duo is the product companies need in order to keep themselves protected.

Sometimes setup can be laborious. Users may have a difficult time with adoption, especially those who are resistant to change.

I like how simple and straightforward this tool is. We have rolled this out for staff to sign in securely to their work devices and adds that little extra layer of security to our organisation.

At times there can be delays on receiving either the code or push notifications which can be an easy to then gain access.

Mobile authentication is great, the pop up screen that just require accept once you are login in to the VPN is very efficient and easy to use.

When changing mobile device or phone number associated to the DUO it can be a nightmare doing the self service steps for people that are not computer savvy, within the organization has colleagues that do it very fast and some of them that hard to understand and follow the steps.

Easy to use. Love the access to this on my phone. Provides great security measures to avoid unauthorized log in.

Requires multiple log in pushes when changed from different applications within the same program. One verification per program would be nice.

What I most like about duo security (considering it's application that basically has one purpose with a few different avenues of getting there) is the simplicity. It also is a bit more modern feeling than your email and text authenticators, which is nice. I'd say that this program, if you're looking into authenticating software's, is most likely one of the best choices, next to microsoft's.

I've randomly (very rarely) had my duo logins just removed from the app, and it is a HASSLE to get everything back ESPECIALLY if you are incorporating this into a business. You're basically having to prove duo screwed up to try to get your authenticating account back onto the program, without having it on the program, it's not super fun, but at least it doesn't happen very often, other than that, great program.

Using Duo security gives me the ease of mind that no one can try to hack my email and data . I know that using this, if someone tries to abuse the information and log in to my accounts, I will immediately notified.

One of the problems is that sometimes, even with choosing the remember for 30 days option, I have to enter the passcode on my phone every time that I want to enter to my accounts.

It's an app that I have on my phone and so easy to use. I use it for work when I have to work remote at home. Whatever I am trying to get into as far as work accounts, its trigger's my duo app to make sure I am the actual user. All I have to do is hit accept in the duo app and I am logged into whatever work feature I am trying to use remotely. It's safe and protects confidentially.

The only thing I forget is that if you get a new phone, you have to re download the app and re-register your duo account with your IT department at work. It's easy to do, but It's not something I think of until I try getting in and can't.

I like the convenience factor most. Some two-factor authentication solutions take some time (entering a code, etc.), but I love how Duo has an Apple Watch widget that allows me to make a single click to authenticate. I also appreciate the simplicity of the UI. I also like the QR code pairing that some sites have to set up the Duo config. It's quick and easy.

I have no complaints, so it's difficult to write about what I like least. If I were forced to make a suggestion, it would be to make the mobile app more visually appealing.

Sometimes it doesn’t send the code like it should. However, thats just how tech is.

Duo Security makes it super simple to securely sign onto any website or network through a push notification or passcode alert. The system is also easy to use once it is set-up and can be modified as needed.

The set-up takes a little while to complete and the software takes a little while to learn.

Duo is my favorite authenticator app that I use. I've switched phones a couple of times at this point without doing a full backup, and I find that Duo makes it the easiest to recover my accounts on a new device. Duo is also incredibly popular so I can use it nearly all the time when setting up MFA, which means I don't need to have a large selection of authenticator apps on my phone.

I find that the 'push' feature for Duo Security does not always work/send to my device. However, I can always type in the 30 second code for access. It works just as well but it does take a bit more time.

I liked the possibility of accessing my E-Learning profile in a safe way, protecting my data, with a simple click on my phone

I wish I could use it on my laptop or that I could press on authenticate without having to unlock my phone. It can be annoying when I am very busy or when my phone is not next to me

The application is easy to use with cellular device.

There are no dislikes noted at this time.

Duo features like MFA, Device Trust, Adaptive Access Policies & Remote Access.

They don't have a desktop app & only a mobile app.
