Pros
We switched from the desktop version of inflow.
We use MacOS/IOS as a company and were growing concerned that we would have to switch platforms completely to allow our team "cloud" access to our inventory and invoicing.
The new interface makes the transition very simply and gives us the full functionality we need on our operating systems.
Cons
We would like to see the continued development of the web app

I think Inflow is a great tool for businesses up to a certain size. I like the simplicity to it compared to some programs.
Pros
I like the simplicity of it. It's fairly easy to pick up on how to navigate through it.
Cons
There is no easy way to see what hasn't been picked for a manufacturer order. When you use the auto fill button, you can't revert back without leaving the screen. Also, when you use the auto fill button to see what is remaining to pick, you risk saving by accident.

Overall, don't color me impressed. It has a pretty interface and great functionality in theory. However the design elements are no better than that of an average student at a community college. It crashes and the server stability will leave you waiting to perform inventory.
Pros
In theory this works great. Limited to growth with a company with no API support. Which is unfortunate that they chose this route considering their pricing is on tier with medium size businesses in mind.
Cons
If the servers are down so frequently, the app will automatically opt for you to uninstall if it wasn't able to grab update information. You will also not be able to actively get to your inventory. If users are paying for a cloud service... you might want to get some server stability first. Yes... it's all secure, however this is risk management that should be addressed prior to charging for a product. My investors would have my head if I attempted to charge for such a beast.

Cons
Not quite mrp, i.e., there is not a time-phased "Make/Buy Report" that materials professionals look for.

Hi James, thanks for the honest feedback on what we're doing well and what we could improve on.
We've released a few new features for manufacturers in the past year, like a full web manufacturing module with routing and prioritization, and we'll continue to look into making things easier for manufacturers in inFlow.
Thanks for the review!

Hands down, the best decision we have made for Inventory tracking, order writing and invoicing.
Pros
We love the ability to easily enter orders and track their progress. The Reporting is amazing and the ability to customize fields is key to our ability to utilize INFLOW in the most efficient way for our Company.
Cons
There are not many cons. One would be the fact that once we import new data, the new pricing does not update on Purchase Orders. That would be super helpful for us.

Thanks very much for this great feedback, Mary!
For PO pricing, this may depend on what kind of import is being done. But just in case it helps: if the PO price is different from the saved vendor price, you should see an icon beside the "Unit price" field to save that PO's price back to the vendor record.

Support for this software is very good, I never have a problem getting a response, and there is a user based forum that also has a lot of information.
Pros
I liked that it was affordable, did not require that you pay a monthly subscription (for the offline version) and that it was more intuitive than most I've tried. The new integrated barcode feature of the cloud product brings this to the level of $10,000 systems I have used in the past.
Cons
The biggest con with both versions of this software is the inability to handle multiple warehouses properly. If an item you have is in multiple locations, it treats those locations as different bins on the same shelf, so it will not tell you that you need to order more for warehouse "A" of there is enough in warehouse "B,C,D" to meet the min/max criteria. This requires you to use different part numbers for the same thing in each warehouse, which is doable but annoying when it comes to transferring between warehouses and labelling.
Response from Archon Systems
Hi Chris,
Thanks for the review!
We have significantly improved how locations work in inFlow since your review. It's now possible to have separate reorder points for each of your locations and different actions you want to take at each location when that point is hit.
For example, you could set a reorder point for your main warehouse and have that warehouse get replenished by purchases to your vendor. Meanwhile you could have smaller reorder points at your stores or branches that get replenished through Stock Transfers from your main warehouse. Manufacturers could also choose for a finished item to get replenished by building more on a Work Order.
Hope that helps!

Efficient and User-Friendly Inventory Management Solution
Reviewed on 30/05/2024
Pros
I've been using Inflow inventory management software for the past two years, and it has significantly streamlined our inventory processes. The interface is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy for our team to learn and use without extensive training. The real-time tracking feature has improved our inventory accuracy and reduced the time spent on manual stock checks.
One of the standout features is the comprehensive reporting tools, which provide valuable insights into our inventory trends and help us make informed decisions. The ability to integrate with other systems has further enhanced our operational efficiency.
Customer support has been excellent, with prompt responses and helpful solutions whenever we've had questions. Overall, Inflow has become an indispensable tool for our business, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient inventory management solution.
Cons
The only negative we have found is with the Inflow Cloud App. It would be great if it had more functionality. Inability to add and see attachments on a sales order is not a deal breaker but would be a nice addition for future app updates.

Robust and Affordable Inventory Management
Reviewed on 26/03/2018

InFlow worked really well as an affordable inventory control solution with their one-time fee for a desktop version. Our client was a new industrial supply company with around 1000 items but very limited staffing. InFlow offered an unlimited number of inventory and sub-categories. We needed a program that was easy to learn with the ability to have real-time inventory counts, profit and cost of goods sold, along with sales quotes that could be moved into sales orders and invoices along with vendor ordering capability. Inflow provided what we were looking for in a desktop solution.
Pros
The inFlow Inventory program was quite easy to learn and compared to other inventory management software, really affordable. It also had the ability to integrate with Magento or Shopify for when our business client was ready to move into online sales and the ability to use barcoding. There were a number shortcuts in the program which was quite useful for a small business with inventory but with limited operations staff. For example, through the Vendor list, low stock can be identified with the Suggest Reordering feature. We found it was a fairly robust program for our small business client, but also easily installed, customized and managed with a fairly flat learning curve to run it with success.
Cons
The only major downside to the desktop version of inFlow was its inability to integrate with an accounting program. Although the reporting capacity gave all the information that was needed for management and financial meetings, the information had to be exported out of Inflow and imported into the accounting program manually. The cloud version of inFlow has this ability, but the desktop version did not. There was also no Mac version available.

It's very easy to use! When I first started at the company I work at, no one really knew how to use it. A few months after I started and watching a lot of the helpful YouTube videos, I had inFlow up and running and created a Showroom for employees to use to request items they need at their site.
Cons

Response from Archon Systems
Glad to hear you're finding our YouTube videos helpful, John!
In case it helps: you could export product details, change the ProductName and ItemType, and re-import the file. This would help you create a new non-stocked version of that product, without having to copy all of the descriptions or other details. You could then deactivate the stocked product.
